One of the most common questions we get before a first consultation is simple: what does a piece from Nidhi Mehra actually cost? Here's an honest breakdown of how pricing works across our made-to-order collections.
01WHAT AFFECTS THE PRICE
It's Never Just One Number
Every piece is made to order, so the final price depends on a handful of factors rather than a fixed price tag: the base fabric (raw silk and silk organza cost more than net or georgette), the density and technique of embroidery (light sequin work costs less than dense zardozi, cutdana or mirror work), the number of components (a lehenga set with blouse, skirt and dupatta costs more than a single-piece gown), and the level of customisation requested.
02TYPICAL PRICE RANGES
₹18,000 to ₹2,20,000
Across our bridal and occasion collections, pieces generally range from ₹18,000 to ₹2,20,000, depending on fabric, embroidery and customisation:
- Lighter occasion pieces (skirt sets, simpler drape sarees, short dresses) — ₹18,000 to ₹60,000
- Mid-weight pieces (embellished gowns, sharara sets, Anarkalis) — ₹90,000 to ₹1,50,000
- Heavily embroidered bridal lehengas (dense zardozi, mirror work, multiple components) — ₹1,50,000 to ₹2,20,000
Fully custom pieces or additional embellishment requests are quoted individually during your consultation.
03WHAT'S INCLUDED
Fittings, Taxes and Minor Adjustments
All taxes are included in the listed MRP; shipping and duties are calculated at checkout. Made-to-order pieces include one fitting session at the Noida atelier, and customisation such as adjusting the slit, neckline, sleeve style or embroidery placement is generally included at no extra cost, though larger changes (adding new embroidery, changing fabric) may adjust the final price.
