Sangeet · Mehendi is our most compact but most purpose-built collection - designed entirely around two functions where movement matters as much as embellishment. These are lighter lehengas and co-ord sets meant to hold up through a full evening of dance performances or hours of daytime mehendi celebrations, not pieces borrowed from a heavier bridal edit.
Colour and texture lead the design language here. Expect vibrant, festive palettes - a deliberate contrast to the more muted tones common in bridal and reception wear - paired with mirror work, sequins, and beadwork that catches light during dance performances without weighing the wearer down. Fabrics are chosen specifically for breathability and movement: net, silk organza, and lighter crepe bases that flare and move freely rather than holding a stiff structured silhouette.
Craftsmanship leans toward texture over density - scattered mirror work, sequin borders, and beaded tassels rather than the fully embroidered surfaces seen in our bridal lehengas. This isn't a compromise on quality; it's an intentional choice, since heavily worked, rigid embroidery doesn't perform well through hours of choreographed dancing or a long mehendi afternoon. Customisation is available on every piece - choli fit, skirt flare, and in some cases colour palette can be adjusted to suit your function and dance plans.
Given the lighter construction, this collection has the fastest turnaround in our range - typically 2–3 weeks for customisation, useful for sangeet and mehendi functions that are often scheduled closer to the wedding date than other events.
For heavier wedding-day pieces, see our Bridal Lehenga; for a broader range of multi-occasion lehengas at varying embellishment levels, browse the Lehenga Collection; and for fusion options suited to a sangeet cocktail hour, see Indo-Western Collection.
